Camping Own Gear and Our Gear

Settle into the open-air calm of Ayza Elementaita with flexible camping options for both independent campers and guests who prefer resort-provided gear. Own Gear is ideal for guests arriving with their own tents and equipment, while Our Gear offers Ayza tents for a limited number of guests who want a simple, comfortable camping experience close to the lake, bonfire area and shared resort facilities.

Check In

Check in details: 1500hrs - 1900hrs

Upon arrival, kindly issue your valid ID at the reception.

Check Out

Check out time is between 1000hrs - 1100hrs

Please note: late check-out after 11am incurs a day rate of Ksh 3,500.

Camping Features & Amenities:

Own Gear camping is available for guests bringing their own tents and equipment.

Our Gear camping has 5 resort tents supporting up to 10 guests.

Rates are charged per person per night, with bed-only and bed-and-breakfast options.

Guests have access to shared facilities, resort security, lake views and optional extras.

Bonfire, board games, bike hire and guided outdoor activities are available through the resort.

Cancellation Policy

Camp policy:
Food and drinks from outside are NOT allowed.
If you must bring your own food and/or drinks, a corkage fee of Ksh 5,000 will apply.
Cancellation policy:
Standard Bookings:
* Cancellations made 7 days or more before the check-in date: Full refund minus transaction fees.
* Cancellations made 3 to 6 days before the check-in date: 50% refund of the total booking amount.
* Cancellations made within 48 hours of the check-in date or no-shows: No refund.
2. Group and Event Bookings:
* Cancellations made 14 days or more before the event date: Full refund minus transaction fees.
* Cancellations made 7 to 13 days before the event date: 50% refund.
* Cancellations made within 7 days of the event date: No refund.
3. Rescheduling:
* Guests may reschedule their booking up to 7 days before the check-in date without any penalty, subject to availability.
4. Refund process:
* Refunds will be processed within 7 business days of the cancellation request.
